Oakland Prospect
Formed Anglo-European II Corporation in 2004 to explorae for oil and natural gas in the onshore United States. At present, we have the Oakland Prospect in Colorado County, Texas. The Oakland Prospect has 3-D seismic coverage plus special processing for carbonate porosity. We can either farmout or operate ourselves.

Crude oil production has stagnated since 2005 at a rate just under 74 million barrels per day with total crude and liquids reaching a plateau in the 85 million barrels per day range according to the Energy Information Administration. The world has entered into a period of maximum production or "peak oil" according to many observers.
Like it or not the chart captures what has happened to oil prices in the past and is the blueprint of things to come for many years as the global maximum production capacity (GMPC) line starts to decrease because of "peak oil." Price volatility is the norm. Furthermore, oil replacement commodities will be slow to come regardless of need and the money thrown at the problem. There are technical problems only time will help solve. Taxing crude or gasoline would not help but requiring oil refineries to blend renewable and relatively in-expensive bio-fuels with gasoline might slow the effects of "peak oil."
It is past time for many individuals and business organizations to calculate the long term effects of "peak oil" into their future plans.
